Dealers can significantly reduce their trading costs by executing on Omega ATS. Our execution rates are the lowest in Canada by a significant margin (see Fees). Common business sense dictates Omega is the trading venue of choice for liquidity takers.

Omega ATS charges no connection or membership fees, and there are no monthly or other minimum trading fees.

Basic Order Matching Means Faster Trades

Omega ATS is designed to maximize internal order processing speed – minimizing the time between when an order is received and an acknowledgement is sent. Omega ATS focuses on limit order flow, using order types and methods of order interaction to maximize the overall order matching speed. Omega prefers to give traders faster executions rather than exotic order types.

Ease of Access

Omega ATS is easy to access. Order-execution vendors and service bureaus used by most Canadian dealers are now connected to Omega ATS. Testing and certification can take as little as a day, depending on your resource availability.

Individual Trader Access to Omega

If you are trader at a Canadian registered broker-dealer, you should have access to Omega if the broker-dealer is an Omega subscriber. If you are unsure, please refer to the Dealers that Trade on Omega section.
